There’s something really special about a gorgeous fall afternoon… the warm colors reflected from the fall foliage, that crispness in the air near evening, and the smell of fireplaces being lit for the first time. This past Saturday was one of those days. I met up with the Small family at Rose Tree Park. I’ve known Liss and Gabe for quite a while, and I’m lucky enough to have been able to to do fall photography session with them. Their son Calvin is absolutely adorable. Thank you Liss and Gabe for booking with me!
Calvin was a little shy at first…
But he warmed up when Mom and Dad started “One, Two, Three…SWING!”
A little play time with Dad
Liss was great and brought a big bag of “Just in Case” things which is always a fantastic idea…especially for the littles. Calvin couldn’t get enough of this pumpkin and wound up whacking Gabe in the head with it a few times while riding on his shoulders.
I love this shot…pure joy.
Climbing up for kisses and a snuggle.
Taking a little reading break.
Then, while trying to get some nice shots of Liss and Gabe, someone tried to escape.
I love this look that parents get when they’re looking at their little one…
…because he’s being adorable playing with dandelions.
FInal family shot
And some kisses for Mom.
So this last one is just adorable. Toward the end, Calvin was getting a little bored with our photo shenanigans. So he may or may not have been bribed with a pretzel. As I tried to sneak in a couple more…he wanted to share it with me. Thanks Cal, it was yummy.
