On Sunday, we spent the day at my niece Aubrey’s baptism in Maryland. On the way back up, I couldn’t help but notice that this late in the year, despite a hurricane, we still had a decent amount of fall foliage. I asked the girls if they were interested in going to the park when we got home…of course they were in! We went to Smedley Park in Springfield, PA. After throwing rocks in the creek for a while, Ella decided it was time to explore. Am I ever glad she did that…we came across a STEEP hill covered in leaves with downed branches everywhere. The girls had a ball…and I had a ball chasing them with my camera!
Hailey is absolutely stunning, I’ve never seen a kid so photogenic. These are on the bridge over the creek…Ella was busy with her rocks.
Ella falling up the hill…
…and climbing on some logs.
I couldn’t pick between the next two of Ella climbing out onto one of the branchs…so I didn’t!
See…stunning.
This is the face she gets when she’s talking about cute boys…I have a feeling we’re going to have our hands full in a couple years.
