Our third stop of the road trip took us over to Martha’s Vineyard. We were literally the last vehicle on the ferry! It was very windy up on deck. Now, I ALWAYS tell Ella to wear shorts under her dresses…she’s just too active not to. She’s been in a defiant zone lately, but she definitely learned her lesson!
The flowers on the island were gorgeous! I’ve never seen so many hydrangea in my whole life. On the way to dinner, Hailey had her first experience with “good luck” from the local seagull. Needless to say, she did not take it well.
I absolutely LOVE the cedar shake houses on the island and all the little details. Notice the heart above the door!
We drove around the island on our second day. We took a stroll along the beach and up to the lighthouse in Edgartown.
Our next and final stop is Newport, RI.
